Taylor Yates
Taylor's platform:
Live. Overcome Disabilities, Live your Abilities
Taylor Yates is a 22 year old from Dadeville, Alabama. A 2005
graduate of Benjamin Russell High School, she continued on to Auburn
University to pursue a degree in Apparel Design. Currently she is a
senior at Auburn. Taylor has had the opportunity to be a member of the
Auburn Tiger Paws Dance team for the past four years, serving as Captain
for the 2008-2009 season. At Auburn Taylor is a member of numerous
clubs, organizations and honor societies.
Taylor will be making her second trip to Miss Alabama this June, serving
as Miss Painted Rock last year. Her platform is “Live, Overcoming
Disabilities-Living your Abilities” and it deals with special needs
children and adults. Taylor loves being a part of many special needs
organizations like Valley Haven and Camp ASCCA. She would love to help
